Primary Care - Inbox Management
Job Description
CORE Physicians, affiliated with Exeter Hospital and Beth Israel Lahey Health, is expanding and seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our collaborative and patient-centered team. This fully remote position provides physician inbox coverage and support, helping to ensure timely and high-quality patient care.
\nAbout the role:
\n* Support primary care teams remotely by completing indirect patient care tasks. Remote inbox physicians collaborate with on-site providers and staff to co-manage the medical needs of patients.
\nSchedule:
\n* Full Time / Day Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
\nMajor Responsibilities:

Respond to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input.
\n - \n
Review and refill medication refill requests.
\n - \n
Coordinate patient care with triage and care coordination nurses.
\n - \n
Communicate lab and diagnostic test results to patients.
\n - \n
Complete peer-to-peer review with insurance company for authorization of testing or treatment when needed.
\n - \n
Attend regularly-scheduled virtual meetings with on-site providers.
\n - \n
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Board-certified MD or DO
\n - \n
DEA
\n - \n
NH License
\n - \n
3-5 years' clinical experience in primary care
\n
