As a Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for various foot and ankle conditions, such as trauma, sports injuries, deformities, arthritis, and complex reconstructive needs.
- Performing a range of surgeries, including arthroscopy, fracture management, tendon and ligament repairs, ankle replacements, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Creating personalized treatment plans that encompass both surgical and non-surgical options.
- Interpreting diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborating with orthopedic colleagues, physical therapists, podiatrists, and other specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:
- A degree from an accredited Medical School
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- A valid New York Medical License
