Position Summary
The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for making outbound and receiving inbound calls from Medicare Advantage clients. The primary objective of this role is to support new members by ensuring application accuracy, answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the onboarding process.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while assisting customers.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to individuals with recently submitted insurance applications.
Receive and respond to inbound customer inquiries.
Review and verify application information for accuracy and completeness.
Answer customer questions related to Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans.
Help ensure customers are comfortable and satisfied with their selected coverage.
Introduce available healthcare support programs and services when appropriate.
Navigate multiple computer systems while managing customer conversations.
Document interactions and maintain accurate records within CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
Create and manage customer cases and follow-up activities as needed.
Coordinate with internal teams when additional support or intervention is required.
Schedule and conduct follow-up calls with customers.
Respond to customer callbacks, emails, and voicemail messages promptly.
Meet departmental performance goals and productivity expectations.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development opportunities.
Maintain a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused approach during all interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Previous customer service, call center, healthcare, insurance, or sales support experience preferred.
Available to work Tues - Sat
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
