The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating patients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific conditions. This role involves tracking patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed, and providing education to patients to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Patient Age Range: All age groups.
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred Coursework: Focus on Physical Therapy.
Essential Skills
  • Strong understanding of Physical Therapy theories, methodologies, practices, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A proactive and positive mindset towards problem-solving.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of potential hazards, necessary precautions, and remedial actions in patient care.
  • Capability to evaluate and implement treatment plans for both simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Licensure and Certifications
  • Must hold a current Physical Therapy license in Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in rehabilitation services within a hospital setting is advantageous.
  • Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Required Experience: Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant areas such as acute care or outpatient services.
