Lexington Clinic is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a busy Neurosurgery Practice in Lexington. This is an outpatient opportunity, Monday - Friday. The Physician Assistant will work 2 days in Clinic and 3 days in the OR. Summary of Role

\n

As a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant, you will closely partner with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

\n

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Perform medical services and procedures within the scope of your medical license.

  • \n
  • \n

    Conduct patient histories and physicals

  • \n
  • \n

    Interpret clinical data and develop care plans

  • \n
  • \n

    Recommend and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

  • \n
  • \n

    Support treatment management and follow-up care

  • \n
  • \n

    Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues

  • \n
  • \n

    Maintain all requirements to maintain the license including CMEs.

  • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams

  • \n
  • \n

    Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals

  • \n
  • \n

    Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients

  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and Kentucky state licensure (or eligibility)

  • \n
  • \n

    Prior Neurology experience preferred

  • \n
  • \n

    Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required

  • \n
