Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist | Overland Park, KS Full-Time | Direct Hire| $65-75K LHH is partnering with a well-established financial services company in the Overland Park, KS who is seeking a Sr. Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist. This position is responsible for servicing a portfolio of commercial real estate, construction, business, and commercial lending relationships throughout the life of the loan. The ideal candidate will have experience with loan servicing, construction draws, collateral documentation, insurance tracking, escrow administration, loan modifications, and customer relationship support. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with lenders, credit teams, borrowers, title companies, and attorneys while supporting a diverse commercial loan portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Service and maintain commercial and construction loan portfolios from closing through payoff.
  • Process loan advances, construction draws, and disbursements according to approved budgets and loan agreements.
  • Review draw requests, lien waivers, inspections, invoices, and supporting documentation for completeness.
  • Monitor and track construction projects to ensure compliance with loan terms and funding requirements.
  • Process loan payments, renewals, modifications, extensions, and payoffs.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and update information within the core banking system.
  • Monitor insurance coverage, collateral documentation, UCC filings, and other required borrower documentation.
  • Manage escrow accounts, reserve balances, taxes, and insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate with lenders, credit officers, borrowers, title companies, inspectors, and attorneys to resolve servicing-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, bank policies, and internal procedures.
  • Research and resolve loan discrepancies and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports, loan documentation, and portfolio status updates as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of commercial loan servicing, construction lending, loan operations, loan processing, or banking experience preferred.
  • Understanding of commercial real estate and construction lending processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial real estate (CRE) lending.
  • Construction loan administration and draw processing.
  • SBA, owner-occupied commercial, investment real estate, and business lending.
  • Loan documentation review and collateral tracking.
  • Core banking systems such as Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, CSI, or similar platforms.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
