Job Description
Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a dedicated team in Mason City, Iowa.
The North Iowa Anesthesia Associates comprises a skilled group of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs who deliver anesthesia services at our progressive medical center and its nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities include managing daily assignments and call rotations among the team. The chosen candidate will handle a variety of cases, including General, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Obstetric procedures. Our facility is recognized as a Level 3 Trauma Center, and the selected individual will also oversee CRNAs.
This role involves covering Cardiac surgeries and providing Cardiac call from Monday to Thursday. General weekend call is required for six weekends annually, along with one holiday. Compensation for on-call Cardiac anesthesia services will be provided. If there are no scheduled Cardiac cases during the week, the provider will be assigned to general cases.
A Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship is mandatory, or TEE certification will be accepted.
