\nWerring Law, LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing firm and become part of the next chapter of our expansion throughout Northeast Kansas. This position is designed for an attorney who wants more than simply handling files. \nOur office continues to expand its presence across multiple communities and practice areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, courts, and professional contacts throughout the region while building a practice in a supportive and collaborative environment.\n

\nRelocation is *not required*. The successful candidate may choose any of our office locations as their primary office. Travel between offices is anticipated, generally at least once per week, to meet client needs and maintain our growing regional presence.\n

\n* Meet with and advise clients on a variety of legal matters\n
\n* Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, estate planning documents, correspondence, and legal memoranda\n
\n* Conduct legal research and develop case strategies\n
\n* Appear in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and related matters\n
\n* Manage case files and maintain applicable deadlines\n
\n* Work collaboratively with staff to provide exceptional client service\n

\n* Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school\n
\n* Active Kansas law license required\n
\n* Missouri law license preferred\n
