  • Team Composition: 6 surgeons, 13 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care
  • Completion of ACS or SCC Fellowship is mandatory
  • Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification
Responsibilities:

Your daily activities may include:

  • Delivering comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
  • Participating in the management of trauma patients throughout the entire continuum, from initial resuscitation to rehabilitation
  • Acting as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows
  • Engaging in clinical research and scholarly endeavors
  • Taking part in administrative and leadership roles, including supporting ongoing trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating on a multidisciplinary trauma program focused on quality, safety, and education
  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
