The Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector is rapidly growing, offering excellent opportunities for work-life balance, with no on-call duties or weekend shifts!

We are looking for a Full-Time provider (30-40 hours weekly) for our Pocahontas Center situated in Marlinton, WV. This role is open to either a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant, and we encourage new graduate nurse practitioners to apply. Please note that we are unable to accommodate new graduate physician assistants for this position.

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $125,000, along with an incentive compensation bonus program that has no cap.

Key Responsibilities

• The Advanced Practice Provider will report to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
• This role involves collaborating on-site with the Center Leadership Team to meet specific center goals and priorities.
• Collaboration with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician is essential for delivering patient-specific medical care.
• The Advanced Practice Provider will offer primary and urgent care services to residents, working alongside other medical professionals within the center.
• Collaboration with Center Leadership is crucial to fulfill our mission of enhancing lives through high-quality healthcare and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• The Advanced Practice Provider must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a license as a registered nurse.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required, with a Master’s Degree in Nursing focusing on Older Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialties. Other specialties may be considered based on experience and organizational needs.
• For Physician Assistants, graduation from an ARC-PA accredited program is necessary, along with passing the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to obtain the PAC designation. State licensure and NCCPA certification are also required.
• A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred.
• In states where practice regulations permit, an unrestricted professional license and DEA are required for both APRNs and PAs.

Salary Range: USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 per year.
