Temporary Conveyancing Solicitor

Reed Legal are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy and established legal team on a 3–6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a strong residential conveyancing background to provide support during a period of increased workload. This role will be split between the Windsor and Bracknell offices and working 3 - 3.5 days per week.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring a high standard of client care and compliance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including:\n
  \n
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  \n
  • Remortgages
  \n
  • Transfers of equity
  \n
  • New build transactions
  \n
\n
• Providing expert legal advice to clients throughout the transaction process
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
\n
• Reviewing contracts, searches and title documentation
\n
• Handling exchange and completion matters efficiently
\n
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
\n
• Maintaining accurate file records and case management updates
\n

About You

\n
• Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
\n
• Proven experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
\n
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
\n
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Experience using case management systems is advantageous
\n
