Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation. This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling, preparation of stock and equipment, for movement and shipping.
\nWorking as part of a team, you will help ensure goods and equipment are cleaned, checked, prepared, and ready for dispatch. You may work across a variety of warehouse areas and will receive full training on all processes and procedures.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently. \n
- Checking goods in and out of the warehouse. \n
- Conducting stock checks and updating inventory records. \n
- Identifying and reporting damaged, faulty, or missing items. \n
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment. \n
- Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times. \n
- Supporting colleagues across different warehouse functions as needed. \n
- Undertaking any other duties necessary to support the smooth operation of the warehouse. \n
Person Specification
\nEssential Skills & Experience:

- Previous warehouse/logistics, experience is essential. \n
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling activities. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. \n
- Good time management and organisational skills. \n
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties. \n
- Good communication skills. \n
- Understanding of the importance of workplace health and safety. \n
Hours:
\n10am to 6pm - Extended hours may be required during busy periods.
