This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional to join a supportive team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations.

As Payroll Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries and work closely with internal departments to ensure payroll information is accurate, up to date, and processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Payroll Manager with the accurate processing of monthly payroll, ensuring all payments are made correctly and on time.
  • \n
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in line with company policies and current legislation.
  • \n
  • Act as the first point of contact for payroll enquiries from employees and managers.
  • \n
  • Carry out payroll reconciliations and assist with accounts payable duties when required.
  • \n
  • Prepare, analyse, and validate payroll data using Excel, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • \n
  • Produce payroll reports, documentation, and correspondence for internal stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Handle sensitive employee information with complete confidentiality and professionalism.
  • \n
  • Work closely with HR/People teams and other departments to ensure employee records remain accurate.
  • \n
  • Monitor employee time and attendance records, ensuring weekly timesheets are approved and submitted correctly.
  • \n
  • Provide general administrative support to the payroll function and undertake additional duties as required.
  • \n

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration or payroll support role.
  • \n
  • A strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll legislation.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple deadlines.
  • \n
