People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Swindon.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Assembly Operative. Previous experience operating production machinery would be advantageous.

Rates of Pay:

• £16.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

\n
• Monday – Thursday: 15:00 – 00:30
\n
• Friday: 15:00 – 19:00
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Production Operative are:

\n
• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
\n
• Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery as required
\n
• Working as part of a busy production team to meet daily production targets
\n
• Assembling, packing or processing products in line with company procedures
\n
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
\n
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe at all times
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:

• Good attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
\n
• Reliable with a positive attitude towards work
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• Comfortable to carry out manual handling duties where required
\n
• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
\n
• Experience operating or working with production machinery is highly desirable
\n
• Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
\n
• Immediate availability is desirable
\n
