Location: Ferndown, Dorset
\nSalary: £35,000 (Pro Rata)
\nHours: Part-time – 3 Days Per Week (Flexible)
\nWorking Pattern: Office-Based
\nThe Opportunity
\nOur client, a well-established and highly respected wealth management firm based in Ferndown, is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax & Trust Administrator to join their growing team on a part-time basis.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong personal tax experience who is looking for flexibility whilst remaining in a professional and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's private clients with their personal tax affairs and trust administration.
\nThe role is office based, with flexibility around how the three working days are structured. There is also the potential for the position to develop into a full-time role over the coming years.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit Personal Self Assessment Tax Returns. \n
- Prepare Trust Tax Returns (SA900). \n
- Assist with the preparation and administration of Trust Accounts. \n
- Liaise with clients to obtain tax information and supporting documentation. \n
- Communicate with HMRC regarding client tax matters. \n
- Monitor tax deadlines and ensure all compliance requirements are met. \n
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation. \n
- Provide administrative support to advisers and the wider team on tax-related matters. \n
- Keep up to date with current tax legislation and compliance requirements. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience preparing Personal Self Assessment Tax Returns is essential. \n
- Experience preparing Trust Tax Returns is highly desirable. \n
- Knowledge of Trust Accounts would be advantageous. \n
- Experience gained within an accountancy practice, wealth management firm, legal practice, trust company or other professional services environment. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. \n
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently. \n
- Confident communicator with excellent client service skills. \n
- Strong IT skills and experience using tax software and Microsoft Office. \n
