About the Role

We are currently partnering with a rapidly expanding, prestigious Super Prime Residential Contractor known for delivering some of the most exclusive and meticulously crafted high-end properties in Central London.

An exceptional opportunity has opened up for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a flagship, multi-million-pound luxury residential project located in Lancaster Gate.

Working hand-in-hand with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will gain invaluable, hands-on exposure to all commercial aspects of a complex high-end build—making this the ideal stepping stone for an aspiring surveyor looking to accelerate their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day cost control, cost management, and financial tracking processes.

• Support the preparation of accurate and timely Cost Reports and valuation updates.
\n
• Help evaluate subcontractor applications, manage variations, and assist with final account settlements.
\n
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while conducting commercial analyses and reconciling discrepancies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
\n

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Relevant academic qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
\n
• Experience: Previous experience working within the high-end residential sector is strongly preferred.
\n
• Commercial Acumen: A strong, foundational understanding of Cost Control and Cost Management processes.
\n
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial tracking, cost reporting, and industry-standard quantity surveying software/tools.
\n
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, sharp attention to detail, and effective communication skills for building strong working relationships.
\n
