Class 1 Driver

CDL has been meeting the staffing needs of transport and warehouse businesses for over 20 years. We are currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to cover ad-hoc contracts in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
\n The Role\n

• Day and night shifts available.
\n
• Flexible, ad-hoc assignments to suit your availability.
\n
• Opportunities with well established companies in and around Bristol
\n

Responsibilities include;\n

\n
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
\n
• Providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently
\n
• Completing relevant paperwork relating to deliveries and collections
\n
• Navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries
\n
• Communicating well with clients and customers
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
\n
• A professional and reliable attitude.
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions).
\n
