Salary: Up to £48,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the world's leading international law firms seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join its established Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting the accurate delivery of payroll across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, compliantly and on time each month. Working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers, you will manage payroll administration, resolve employee queries and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Assist with the end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls using ADP and other payroll systems.
  • \n
  • Process new starters, leavers and payroll amendments, ensuring all information is accurate and completed within agreed deadlines.
  • \n
  • Validate payroll documentation, including starter information and statutory documentation.
  • \n
  • Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for review and approval.
  • \n
  • Liaise with HR, Finance and third-party payroll providers to ensure payroll is processed accurately and efficiently.
  • \n
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and external providers in a professional and timely manner.
  • \n
  • Support payroll processing for a small number of international employees.
  • \n
  • Prepare and submit pension data in line with regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Assist with P11D and PSA processes.
  • \n
  • Support international payroll activities where required.
  • \n
  • Monitor HMRC submissions and investigate any discrepancies.
  • \n
  • Assist with payroll system administration and user access.
  • \n
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • \n
  • Contribute to payroll process improvements and undertake additional duties as required.
  • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • Experience processing end-to-end UK payroll, ideally within a legal or wider professional services environment.
  • \n
  • CIPP qualification or membership is desirable.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, RTI and statutory requirements.
  • \n
  • Experience using ADP payroll software (knowledge of SD Worx or similar systems would be advantageous).
  • \n
  • Experience supporting pensions administration and payroll reconciliations.
  • \n
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
  • \n
  • A proactive, organised and professional approach.
  • \n
