Senior Employee Relations Manager Location: CambridgeHours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £49,387Senior Employee Relations ManagerAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations professional to join a large, complex medical organisation in a senior employee realtions advisor.This position offers the opportunity to support key stakeholders by providing expert Employee Relations advice, leading a dedicated HR team and partnering with senior stakeholders on complex people matters.If you're passionate about employment law, employee relations and developing high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.The RoleReporting to the Head of Employee Relations, you'll provide specialist advice and guidance on a wide range of complex employee relations matters while leading and supporting a team of Employee Relations Advisors.Key responsibilities include:\n

- Managing complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and change management cases. \n
- Providing expert advice on employment law, HR policies and best practice. \n
- Leading and developing a team of Employee Relations Advisors. \n
- Supporting senior managers through formal hearings, investigations and appeals. \n
- Representing management at appeal hearings and Employment Tribunals where required. \n
- Building effective relationships with senior leaders, managers and Trade Union representatives. \n
- Designing and delivering management and HR training programmes. \n
- Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures. \n
- Leading and supporting workforce projects and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Deputising for the Head of Employee Relations when required. \n

- CIPD qualification (or equivalent HR experience). \n
- Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations cases. \n
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application. \n
- Experience managing or leading HR professionals. \n
- Outstanding communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills. \n
- The ability to influence and challenge at senior level. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. \n
- Experience delivering management training and supporting organisational change. \n

- This role will be onsite during training period with the opportunity of hybrid once embedded in the business working 3 days in the office and two at home. \n
