Key Responsibilities\n

  • Lead and support audit fieldwork from planning through to completion

  • Coordinate audit assignments, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets and deadlines

  • Run planning meetings and support risk assessment processes

  • Review and delegate work to assistants and semi-seniors

  • Prepare completion sections including key audit findings and going concern assessments

  • Liaise with clients throughout the audit lifecycle to maintain strong communication

  • Resolve technical queries and escalate complex issues where necessary

  • Ensure audit files are fully prepared for manager and partner review

  • Support billing preparation and workflow tracking

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across audit processes

What We're Looking For\n

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • \n
  • Strong background in external audit within a professional services setting
  • \n
  • Confident supervising junior staff and reviewing audit work
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively
