Part-Time Administrator (Temporary)

Location: Hurn (with occasional travel to Bournemouth)Hourly Rate: £13 - £13.50 Hours: 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – approx. 21–22 hours)Contract: Temporary (4–5 months, rolling)Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days office-based – Wednesday essential)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administrator to support a busy in-house team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to contribute to a professional environment, supporting a range of administrative and coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising files and supporting the team with filing processes, including:\n
      \n
    • File opening and closing procedures
    • \n
    • Scanning and maintaining both hard copy and electronic records
    • \n
  • \n
  • Arranging signing and approval of documents on behalf of the team
  • \n
  • Supporting the team with file management tasks, including:\n
      \n
    • Updating key dates in shared calendars
    • \n
    • Assisting with post-completion administrative processes
    • \n
  • \n
  • Supporting project work aimed at improving procedures and processes
  • \n
  • Providing general administrative support as required
  • \n

Skills & Experience Required

    \n
  • Previous experience in a strong administrative or coordination role
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • \n
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not essential
  • \n

Additional Information

  • Office attendance required 2 days per week (team typically in Monday & Wednesday)
  • \n
  • Wednesday attendance is essential, second office day flexible
  • \n
  • Candidates based in Basingstoke must be willing to travel to the Bournemouth office occasionally (e.g. once per month)
