IMPORT MANAGER FREIGHT FORWARDING

Our client, a leading global freight forwarding and logistics company, is looking to recruit an experienced Import Manager to lead and develop their busy import operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional with strong customs knowledge, commercial awareness, and proven leadership skills.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Import department.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of import professionals.
\n
• Ensure all import operations comply with HMRC and AEO regulations.
\n
• Manage departmental performance, KPIs, and P&L.
\n
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas partners.
\n
• Support business growth through operational excellence and customer engagement.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement and process efficiencies.
\n

• 7+ years' experience within freight forwarding/import operations.
\n
• Previous management experience leading operational teams.
\n
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international freight forwarding.
\n
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and departmental performance.
\n
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
\n
