\nThe Opportunity
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing and processing business. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, supporting operational efficiency and minimising downtime.
\nThis position would suit an engineer with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing setting.
\nJob Purpose
\nThe key purpose of this role is to work autonomously, and as part of a small maintenance team, to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a range of production and processing machinery.
\nDuties & Responsibilities
\nThe role is responsible for:

- Providing frontline maintenance support to production operations. \n
- Ensuring machinery operates at optimum performance and efficiency levels. \n
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical faults. \n
- Assisting with the dismantling, repair, and reassembly of production equipment. \n
- Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules. \n
- Carrying out improvement projects and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise disruption to production. \n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation. \n
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company standards. \n
Qualifications
\nIdeally, you will hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as:

- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering \n
- NVQ Level 3 \n
- HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering \n
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations \n
- City & Guilds 2382 \n
