Finance Manager

Liverpool | £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits | Permanent

Adele Carr Recruitmentis delighted to be partnering with a well-established, family-owned business with over 50 years of success in their specialist sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Finance Manager, to join a friendly, supportive organisation where you'll report directly to the Managing Director and Owners, taking full ownership of the finance function.

As the No 1 person in finance, you will support the MD on a daily basis. This is a pivotal role providing financial insight, supporting commercial decisions and driving the business forward.

Key tasks include:

• Preparation of monthly and consolidated management accounts, P&L
\n
• Budgeting, forecasting and daily cashflow management
\n
• Financial and statutory reporting
\n
• VAT, payroll, fixed assets and treasury management
\n
• Year-end preparation and audit liaison
\n
• Business partnering with the Managing Director and Owners, plus external stakeholders, banks, auditors
\n
• Providing leadership and supporting the development of one team member
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls, adding real value.
\n

About You

We're looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience Finance Manager, who enjoys working within an SME environment and being in the detail.

You will be a commercially minded, hands-on and confident individual who is capable of supporting senior stakeholders, producing management accounts, cashflow, budgeting and financial reporting.

Experience of Sage 50 would be advantageous.
