Start: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a busy food manufacturing site in the DE55 area .This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance engineer looking for a long-term contract, with the potential for an extension beyond the initial end-of-year period.The Role:Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the production facilityDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsMinimise machinery downtime and ensure equipment is operating efficientlyComplete preventative maintenance and fault-finding activitiesWork closely with the production team to maintain smooth and efficient operationsEnsure all maintenance work is carried out safely and to a high standardThe Ideal Candidate:Time-served or suitably qualified Maintenance EngineerStrong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experiencePrevious experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturingComfortable working permanent night shiftsAble to start at short noticeStrong understanding of health & safety and safe working practicesWhat's on Offer:Up to £40 per hourContract initially running until the end of 2026Potential for a longer-term extensionPermanent night shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6amASAP startIf you're an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer available for an immediate contract and interested in a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
