Job Opportunity: Construction & Design Technology Teacher

Location: Secondary Schools & Academies, Rotherham Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time Salary: £168.80 - £262 per day (Paid to scale from Day 1)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Construction and Design Technology Teacher to support various secondary schools and academies across Rotherham.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Construction and DT lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
\n
• Foster a safe and engaging workshop environment focusing on practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
\n
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that inspire students to excel in technical subjects.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
\n
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology or Construction in a UK secondary setting.
\n
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student safety in workshop environments.
\n
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
\n
