Job Coach – SEND

Location: Halifax & Bradford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Term Time Only (39 weeks)

Salary: £31,500 FTE (£26,169 actual)

Contract: Permanent

Reed Further Education is seeking a passionate Job Coach to support learners with SEND in developing the skills, confidence and independence needed for employment and future progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Support learners on work placements and work-related activities.
\n
• Deliver workplace coaching to build employability and independence.
\n
• Monitor progress and liaise with employers to ensure successful outcomes.
\n
• Provide pastoral support and promote learner wellbeing.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and compliance requirements.
\n
• Develop positive relationships with employers to create meaningful opportunities for learners.
\n

About You

\n
• Experience working with young people or adults with SEND.
\n
• Background in Further Education, supported employment or specialist provision.
\n
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Maths and English Level 2.
\n

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
