Reed Education is seeking a dynamic Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Blackpool starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and a passion for creating an engaging learning environment.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous. \n
- Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students. \n
- Maintain effective classroom management skills. \n
- Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students. \n
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending in-service training. \n
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes interest in the arts. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. \n
- Recent relevant experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial. \n
- Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills. \n
- Reliable, committed, and capable of working with students to foster learning. \n
- Demonstrates qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills. \n
- Good interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children. \n
