Position: First Aid TrainerContract Type: TemporaryContract Length: 12 monthsHourly Rate: £19.78Location: West Midlands Police Training Centre

### Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Design & Deliver: Create and implement engaging learning & development programmes aligned with organisational needs and College of Policing Learning Outcomes.
\n
• Manage Learners: Guide and support students in their learning journey, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
\n
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather insights and integrate best practises in training.
\n
• Course Material Review: Regularly assess and update training content to keep it relevant and effective.
\n
• Coaching & Assessment: Utilise coaching techniques to enhance student performance, providing constructive feedback and tailored Learning Development Plans.
\n
• Promote Policies: Advocate for the organisation's Code of Ethics and Health and Safety protocols, ensuring compliance in all training activities.
\n
• Flexibility Required: Be prepared to deliver training sessions during evenings and weekends as needed.
\n

### Essential Qualifications:

\n
• Recognised training or teaching qualification, or significant experience in training delivery and design.
\n
• Willingness to complete a Police Training Roles Learning & Development Programme.
\n
• Practical knowledge of current policing challenges, including efficiency and diversity issues.
\n

### Desirable Skills:

\n
• Experience in any of the following areas would be a bonus:

• IT Training Delivery
\n
• First Aid Training
\n
• Health & Safety Training
\n
• Public Order Training
\n
• Physical Training
\n
• Driver and Road Policing Training
\n
• Custody Officer Training
\n
• Investigative Competence at PIP Level 2
\n
