Location: Covering South London

\n

Salary: £48,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Overview\n

We are currently seeking an experienced plumber multi trader to join a well-established reactive maintenance team, carrying emergency repairs out of hours within occupied social housing properties across South London areas.

  • Shift Times: 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM
  • \n

  • Rota Pattern: 4 days on and 2 days off rolling schedule, including weekends and public holidays
  • \n
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Carrying out a range of plumbing repairs and maintenance works within occupied residential properties.
  • \n
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on domestic plumbing systems including taps, toilets, showers, sinks, pipework and drainage systems.
  • \n
  • Completing plumbing installations and replacements as required.
  • \n
  • Undertaking additional multi-trade duties including:Basic carpentry
  • \n
  • Basic electrical work (like-for-like)
  • \n
  • Small area tiling
  • \n
  • Patch plastering
  • \n
  • Diagnosing faults and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
  • \n
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
  • \n
  • Delivering excellent customer service while working within residents' homes.
  • \n
  • Managing your own workload and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
  • \n
  • Taking ownership of jobs from first visit through to completion.
  • \n

  • Take ownership and responsibility for all allocated jobs.

Experience & RequirementsApplicants must have:\n
    \n
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) - desired
  • \n
  • Proven experience within social housing reactive maintenance.
  • \n
  • Strong plumbing experience with the ability to undertake additional multi-trade repairs.
  • \n
  • Experience carrying out basic carpentry, basic electrical work (like-for-like), small area tiling and patch plastering.
  • \n
  • Experience working within occupied properties.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
  • \n
  • Full UK manual driving licence (no automatic vans available).
  • \n
