Procurement Data StewardExalto Consulting is supporting an established organisation with the appointment of a Procurement Data Steward.This role will take responsibility for the quality, consistency and governance of procurement data across the business. You will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible and trusted.The role You will:Own and maintain procurement data standards, definitions and governance processesMonitor data quality and resolve issues affecting procurement and supplier informationDevelop data quality controls, measures and reportingSupport the management of procurement master dataTranslate data requirements into practical processes and guidance for business usersWork with technical teams to support reporting, dashboards and data modelsLead improvements that reduce manual work, rework and data cleansingIdentify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve data accuracy and standardisationSupport data migration activity and help protect data integrity during system changesAbout you You will have:Experience in a Data Steward, Data Governance or Master Data roleA good understanding of data governance frameworks and master data principlesExperience working with business teams, IT functions and third-party suppliersConfidence investigating data quality issues and implementing practical improvementsStrong Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting toolsClear communication and documentation skillsThe ability to manage several priorities and work with limited supervisionExperience working with procurement, supplier or spend data would be particularly relevant.This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, solving data problems and improving how information is managed across an organisation.You should be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and willing to engage with teams across different business locations.TPBN1_UKTJ
