Retail Security Officer

Our client is looking for a Retail Security Officer to work in a store in Barry , where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.Applicants must have an SIA licence.Position: Retail Security OfficerLocation: BarryPay Rate: £14.10 per hourHours: Various between 6am and midnightShifts: Various over 7 daysYour Time at WorkAs a Retail Security Officer you will be responsible for:- Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff- Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems- Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible- Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified- Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures- Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches- Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition- Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayedOur Perfect WorkerIt is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills.
