Service Advisor

A leading dealership group in Cardiff, South Wales, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership. • Starting salary approximately £28,300 per annum, dependent on experience and brand accreditations

• Uncapped monthly bonus potential, resulting in an OTE of £33,000 - £34,000 per annum

Duties of a Service Advisor:\n

\n
• Welcome customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for repairs
\n
• Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor repairs and progress updates
\n
• Advise customers on minor technical issues and up-sell additional products and services
\n
• Provide excellent customer service via strong communication skills
\n
• Take payments for completed work and ensure customer satisfaction
\n
• Keep customers informed of vehicle repair progress
\n
• Assist in achieving dealership targets and objectives
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturer contacts
\n
• Support warranty procedures and liaise with the manufacturer as required
\n

Requirements of a Service Advisor:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar within the motor industry
\n
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
\n
• Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency (experience with Kerridge/Drive/RTC systems advantageous but not essential)
\n
• Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures advantageous but not essential
\n
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
\n
• Confident relationship-building abilities and a professional attitude
\n
