The role offers a strong balance of leadership and hands-on analytical work, with a clear focus on commercial impact rather than pure modelling. You will play a key role in shaping pricing strategy and responding to market trends in a data-driven way.\n

\n\n The Role\n

- Lead and develop a small team of analysts, providing guidance and prioritising workload \n
- Translate model outputs into clear, commercially actionable pricing decisions \n
- Analyse claims, policy, and market data to identify pricing opportunities \n
- Enhance existing pricing models by integrating new datasets and improving performance \n
- Work cross-functionally with actuarial, data science, and underwriting teams \n
- Identify market trends and ensure pricing strategies remain competitive and profitable \n
- Support the delivery and execution of pricing strategy \n
\n Your Skills and Experience\n
\n- \n
- Strong commercial experience within pricing, analytics, or a related discipline \n
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear business actions \n
- Experience working with or assessing pricing or risk models \n
- Exposure to personal lines insurance is beneficial, but strong analytical backgrounds from adjacent sectors are also considered \n
- Working knowledge of Python or R, with SQL as a useful addition \n
- Interest in leadership, with experience mentoring or managing others or a clear motivation to do so \n
- Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills \n
