Our client, a successful and rapidly growing business, is seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This Finance Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take ownership of a broad, hands-on finance function while working closely with senior leadership. As the Finance Manager, you'll provide meaningful financial insight, oversee day-to-day financial operations, and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and the continued growth of the organisation.

The responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and financial systems
\n
• Produce monthly management accounts and commercial performance reports
\n
• Manage cash flow, banking activities, and supplier payment processes
\n
• Oversee VAT compliance, financial controls, and statutory reporting
\n
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
\n
• Monitor profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
\n
• Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
\n
• Drive continuous improvements across finance processes and reporting
\n

The candidate:

\n
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance position within an SME environment
\n
• Strong management accounting, cash flow, and financial reporting experience
\n
• Confident user of Xero and Microsoft Excel
\n
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working autonomously while partnering with senior stakeholders
\n
