Lead Heat Pump Installer - Leicestershire - Competitive Salary + Vehicle + Benefits
\nDo you hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing, Heating or Mechanical Services?
\nDo you have experience installing Air Source or Ground Source Heat Pump systems?
\nDo you hold ACS Gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration?
\nDo you have a full UK driving licence and are you happy to travel to projects nationwide?
\n\nIf the answers are yes, we are hiring for a Lead Heat Pump Installer on behalf of a growing renewable energy contractor delivering low-carbon heating and renewable energy projects across the UK.
\n\nWHAT YOU NEED
\nNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Heating or Mechanical Services, or equivalent
\nACS Gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration
\nExperience installing Air Source Heat Pumps and/or Ground Source Heat Pumps
\nStrong knowledge of domestic and commercial heating systems
\nUnderstanding of plumbing, pipework, hydraulic systems and mechanical installations
\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, installation specifications and manufacturer instructions
\nExperience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
\nGood understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards
\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
\nStrong communication skills with customers, suppliers and site teams
\nGood organisational and time management skills
\nFull UK driving licence
\nWillingness to travel and work on projects across the UK
\nF-Gas qualification desirable
\nPrevious experience leading installation teams highly desirable
\nRenewable heating industry experience advantageous

\nLead the installation of Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pump systems
\nCarry out site surveys and assess installation requirements
\nInstall associated pipework, fittings, controls and mechanical components
\nPrepare installation areas and coordinate works on site
\nWork alongside qualified electrical professionals to complete system connections
\nCommission heat pump systems and ensure efficient operation
\nComplete installation reports and system documentation
\nDiagnose basic faults and support maintenance activities
\nLiaise with project managers, suppliers and customers throughout installations
\nEnsure projects are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards
\nSupport and mentor installation team members
\nTravel to project locations across the UK as required
