Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collect, verify, and process payroll information from multiple departments.
  • \n
  • Accurately calculate hours worked, overtime, holiday pay, bonuses, and deductions.
  • \n
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll data within agreed deadlines.
  • \n
  • Conduct detailed payroll checks to ensure accuracy before submission.
  • \n
  • Reconcile payroll records and investigate discrepancies.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records.
  • \n
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and managers.
  • \n
  • Support compliance with payroll legislation and internal procedures.
  • \n
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous payroll administration experience is essential.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
  • \n
  • Experience processing weekly and/or monthly payrolls.
  • \n
  • Strong Excel and administrative skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
