Interim Head of Finance

Your Company:NET Recruit are partnering with a high-growth international services business to recruit an interim Head of Finance in the Fareham area.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this position, your duties may include, but are not limited to:\n

• Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes, providing clear commercial insight to senior management
\n
• Designing and maintaining a tax-efficient group structure, working with external advisors to optimise compliance across multiple jurisdictions
\n
• Overseeing international billing and multi-currency transactions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with local regulations
\n
• Ensuring all statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements are met across UK and overseas entities
\n
• Acting as a hands-on finance leader, developing and mentoring the finance team while embedding a culture of accuracy and accountability
\n
• Driving continuous improvement across financial controls, processes, and operational efficiency
\n
• Working closely with senior stakeholders, operations, and IT to enhance financial systems, improve automation, and support international growth
\n
• Managing payroll, HR-related finance processes, and transactional finance activities
\n
• Building strong relationships with banks, tax advisors, auditors, and other external partners
\n

What You Will Need to Apply:\n

\n
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with strong post-qualified experience
\n
• Demonstrable experience operating in international or multi-entity environments, including cross-border billing
\n
• Proven ability to manage and implement tax-efficient financial strategies
\n
• A reputation as a credible and commercially minded finance leader
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with exposure to financial analysis and strategic decision-making
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
\n
• Strong systems and IT capability, including Microsoft Office and modern finance platforms
\n
• Experience overseeing payroll and core transactional finance processes
\n
