Warehouse Section Leader - Brighouse (Near Bradford)
\nPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Section Leader to join our well-established client on a permanent basis based in Brighouse (HD6 3TD), West Yorkshire, near Bradford. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to £37,000 per annum, flexible shift patterns, excellent company benefits and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
\nThis role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor, Shift Manager, Warehouse Shift Manager, Operations Team Leader, Logistics Team Leader or Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
\nShifts
\n• Flexible shift pattern covering 40 hours per week
\n• 06:00 - 14:00
\n• 14:00 - 22:00
\n• 11:00 - 19:00 (during off-peak periods)
\n• For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to work a permanent 08:00 - 16:00 shift
\nRates of Pay
\n• Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience

\nDay-to-Day Duties
\nAs a Warehouse Section Leader, your duties will include:
\n• Leading, motivating and developing a team within a busy warehouse operation
\n• Creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing working environment
\n• Driving team performance to achieve operational targets and customer service levels
\n• Allocating workloads to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
\n• Monitoring KPIs and using performance data to drive continuous improvement
\n• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and warehouse processes
\n• Coaching and developing colleagues to maximise individual and team performance
\n• Ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
\n• Investigating operational challenges and implementing sustainable solutions
\n• Producing operational reports, analysing performance data and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
\nEssential Skills
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:
\n• Previous experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
\n• Strong leadership and people management skills
\n• Experience achieving operational KPIs and service levels
\n• Excellent communication and organisational skills
\n• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
\n• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and reporting tools
\n• Strong problem-solving abilities with the confidence to make decisions
\n• Flexibility to work across rotating shift patterns
\nDesirable Experience
\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with:
\n• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP
\n• Lean methodologies or Continuous Improvement initiatives
\n• Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedure
