Van Driver

Pure Staff are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers for one of our long-standing and trusted clients based in Hayes.

As a Van Driver, you will:

\n
• Deliver car parts to trade and industrial customers within a local delivery radius
\n
• Load and unload vehicle parts of varying sizes and weights
\n
• Safely handle heavier items such as engines and oil drums
\n
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time
\n
• Deliver excellent customer service at every drop
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
\n
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
\n
• Maintain communication with the transport team throughout your shift
\n
• Drive safely and professionally at all times
\n

To be considered, you'll need:

\n
• At least 6 months' commercial van driving experience
\n
• A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points
\n
• A reliable, professional, and positive attitude
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Confidence carrying out daily vehicle checks
\n
• Availability for ongoing work
\n

In addition to your hourly rate of £12.76, you'll accrue £1.54 per hour in holiday pay. This is banked separately and paid when you take annual leave.

We believe professional drivers deserve proper paid annual leave. Rather than rolling holiday pay into your hourly rate, your entitlement builds as you work, so you'll still receive holiday pay when you take a well-earned break.
