Class 2 Driver

Glasgow | £17-£20 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6am Starts | Temporary to Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers, Cat C Drivers, and LGV Drivers for a well-known local business based at their Glasgow Hub.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. You'll be delivering within a local radius, working with a modern fleet and enjoying regular weekday hours.

• £17.00 per hour (PAYE).
\n
• £20.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE).
\n
• Temporary to permanent opportunity.
\n
• Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per day.
\n
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
\n
• 6am starts.
\n
• Modern fleet of vehicles.
\n
• Free on-site parking.

• Weekly pay with online payslips.

• Complete 3-6 deliveries within a 50-mile radius of the Glasgow hub.
\n
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
\n
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
\n
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
\n
• Comply with all road transport legislation and company procedures.
\n
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
\n
• Minimum of 12 months' HGV driving experience.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Counterbalance FLT experience is preferred but not essential.
\n
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
\n
