A highly regarded Legal 500 firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor (4–8 PQE) to join its growing team in St Albans. Acting for a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs to investors and healthcare operators, you'll advise on sophisticated transactions that rival the quality of work typically associated with much larger firms.

The Role

You'll play a key role in advising clients across a broad range of corporate matters, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
\n
• Investments and shareholder agreements
\n
• Corporate restructures and reorganisations
\n
• Corporate governance and constitutional matters
\n
• Banking and finance transactions
\n
• Share buy-backs and company administration
\n

Working closely with experienced Partners, you'll take ownership of transactions from instruction through to completion, while also supporting on larger and more complex deals. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the firm, helping to deliver a seamless service to clients while building long-term relationships of your own.

About You

Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with 4–8 years' PQE who can demonstrate:

• Strong experience handling corporate transactions
\n
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
\n
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to client advice
\n
• The ability to manage transactions and meet deadlines
\n
• An interest in networking and business development
\n
• Strong Academics
\n

Experience in banking and finance or sectors such as healthcare would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
