ECT Primary Teacher - Retford

Are you an Early Career Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive primary school in Retford?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to work across primary schools in Retford and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available for ECTs looking for daily supply, short-term cover, long-term roles or permanent positions.

We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with opportunities available across a range of year groups and school settings.

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Primary National Curriculum

Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and backgrounds

Assessing pupil progress and providing clear feedback

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and participation

Working effectively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, parents and senior leaders

Contributing positively to the wider school community

Following school safeguarding, curriculum and behaviour policies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status or confirmation that QTS will be awarded following completion of teacher training

Recent experience within a UK primary school through teaching placements or employment

Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

A positive, reflective and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references

Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible

Right to work in the UK

Teachers undertaking short-term or long-term cover bookings are paid in line with the appropriate teaching pay scale from day one.
