Full-time Year 5 Teacher (KS2)

A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Bury is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team. This is a long-term role for the full academic year, with the potential to move to a school-based contract for the right candidate.

The school serves a diverse and inclusive community, with a range of SEND and EAL needs, and is committed to providing a broad and engaging curriculum. There is a strong focus on developing confident readers, rich vocabulary, and ensuring that both pupil and staff wellbeing remain central to school life.

Teaching is supported through well-established schemes of work, including White Rose Maths and high-quality literacy resources, alongside creative and tailored curriculum planning to meet the needs of all learners. The school offers a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons within a Year 5 class

• Use established schemes of work while contributing to creative curriculum planning

• Promote a love of reading and support vocabulary development

• Effectively support pupils with a range of abilities, including SEND and EAL

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

• Contribute positively to the wider school community
\n

This role is paid on the M1-M6 pay scale and would suit a teacher looking for a full-time opportunity within a supportive KS2 setting.
