With a collaborative culture and strong technical reputation, this is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects while developing your career within a supportive environment.Your new roleAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions across a varied project portfolio. Working closely with mechanical engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, you'll produce detailed electrical designs including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, data systems, and other associated building services installations.You'll be involved throughout the project life cycle, from initial concept and feasibility stages through to detailed design, site inspections, and project completion. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects while receiving support and mentorship from experienced engineers.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you'll ideally have experience in electrical building services design and a good understanding of current industry standards and regulations.You'll also require:Experience producing electrical building services designs within a consultancy environmentProficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux, or similarKnowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant electrical standardsStrong communication and client-facing skillsThe ability to manage workload effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamA relevant degree or HNC/HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringWorking towards professional accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.What you'll get in returnIn return, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package alongside the opportunity to work on exciting projects throughout the UK.
