Senior .NET C# Engineer (Contract, 3 Months, Inside IR35)Location: London (Hybrid preferred; remote considered for the right candidate) Rate: £350-£375 per day (Inside IR35)We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET C# Engineer to join a fast-paced project focused on building and enhancing data ingestion and search capabilities using Elasticsearch.Role OverviewYou will play a key role in designing and developing index ingestion processes that populate Elasticsearch indices. This includes working with event-driven architectures and translating incoming data into a consistent canonical model.Key responsibilities include:\n

• Building ingestion pipelines consuming data from Azure Event Hub and Kafka streams.
\n
• Mapping incoming data (largely 1:1) into a canonical model, with additional metadata enrichment from Kafka sources.
\n
• Leveraging and extending existing ingestion processes as templates.
\n
• Developing REST APIs to support a search UI, translating requests into Elasticsearch queries.
\n

Required Skills (recent experience within the last 12 months)\n

\n
• Strong expertise in C# / .NET development.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing and querying.
\n

Desirable Skills\n

\n
• Azure services: Functions, Event Hub, Service Bus, OneLake, Cosmos DB, AKS.
\n
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
\n
