Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company in South Molton.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Foundry Operatives, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, or Industrial Operatives looking to build a long-term career within a well-established business. • Remove shell material from moulds following casting operations.
\n
• Prepare moulds using water blasting and finishing processes.
\n
• Operate manual and semi-automatic band saws.
\n
• Trim, finish, and rework castings to specification.
\n
• Dry blast components to achieve a consistent finish.
\n
• Support casting operations by handling hot moulds safely.
\n
• Pack, label, and prepare products for further processing.
\n
• Carry out quality inspections and identify defects.
\n
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
\n

\n
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, foundry, or industrial environment.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
\n
• Ability to follow work instructions and production procedures accurately.
\n
• Confidence interpreting routing cards and production documentation.
\n
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify defects.
\n
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
\n

  • 2pm-10pm.
