Chester | Hybrid Working | Up to £32,000

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing financial planning firm for an experienced Administrator to join its friendly team based in Chester.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with at least 2 years' experience within Financial Services or an IFA environment. Experience using Intelligent Office (IO/Intelliflo) would be highly advantageous. Working within a collaborative office, you'll play a key role in supporting Advisers and ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service throughout their financial planning journey.

The Role

\n

As an Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to ensure the smooth processing of new and existing business while maintaining high standards of accuracy and client care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing client reports and supporting documentation for adviser meetings.
  • \n
  • Assisting with pre-meeting preparation, including gathering client information and producing annual review packs.
  • \n
  • Processing new business, top-ups, fund switches, purchases, sales and income withdrawals through provider platforms.
  • \n
  • Managing Letters of Authority and liaising with providers to obtain client information.
  • \n
  • Updating Intelligent Office with new business details and maintaining accurate client records.
  • \n
  • Supporting investment and pension administration from submission through to completion.
  • \n
  • Producing annual review reports and completing post-meeting follow-up actions.
  • \n
  • Handling client and provider telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • \n
  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing post and supporting the day-to-day running of the Chester office.
  • \n
  • Working closely with colleagues across the wider business to deliver outstanding client service.

About You

\n

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within an IFA or Financial Services administration role.
  • \n
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (IO/Intelliflo) is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • Experience processing new business through provider platforms.
  • \n
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • A professional, positive and client-focused approach.
  • \n
