GENERAL OPERATIVE - Appleton Thorn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our well-established client based in Appleton Thorn.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and ongoing work. Own transport is required due to the site's location.

This role will suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Production Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.69 per hour

Shift Pattern:

\n
• Monday to Friday – 06:00-14:00 OR 10:00-18:00
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a General Operative are:

• Manual handling of goods
\n
• Cleaning equipment and work areas
\n
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
\n
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment at all times
\n
• Supporting general warehouse and operational duties as required
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:

• A hardworking and reliable attitude
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• A good level of spoken English
\n
• Comfortable conducting manual handling requirements
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
\n
• Experience carrying out manual handling duties
\n
• Must have reliable transport to the site or live locally, due to the location of the site and the shift times
\n

Training:

\n
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
\n
