Senior Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper

We're recruiting on behalf of a well established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Ashford that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join its close knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a varied portfolio of clients, building long term relationships and taking ownership of their work in a supportive, professional environment.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
\n
• Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping records
\n
• Producing and submitting VAT returns
\n
• Processing management accounts where required
\n
• Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
\n
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping queries and providing day to day support
\n
• Liaising directly with clients to ensure deadlines are met
\n
